Miche Booz Architect recently facilitated two design "charrette" workshops with members of the Adelphi Friends Meeting, resulting in three design options.

The Charrette process revealed the following design criteria for the Meeting:

• Accessible spaces for worship and social gatherings with a way to easily move from one to the other
• Accessible restrooms
• A larger social space and more functional kitchen
• A worship space with an adjacent space that can be used for special events but not necessarily every Sunday
• Six classrooms of varying sizes with access to the playground for the younger children and a place apart (but not too far apart) for Young Friends
• Better site circulation and use of outdoor space
